Wendy Chong is a Technical Program Director at IBM Research global organization, leading AI researchers who are inventing, identifying, and addressing society’s most complex problems with technologies that align with strategies that make IBM the catalyst that makes the world work better.
Previously, Wendy was the Technical Assistant (Chief of Staff) to the Vice President of Research AI where she oversaw the day to day operation of the organization in the context of technical strategy and alignment.
Her passion is to lead teams, building technical communities, and creating innovations that solve human conditions while delivering business impact.
Wendy began her career as a technical contributor in IBM Microelectronics division after getting her master’s in electrical engineering from Columbia University. She is on the Computer Science Industry Advisory Board at Keans University, Union, NJ focused on serving the URM population (Under Represented Minorities).
