Shu Li is Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of Rendr, a primary care-focused, multi-specialty physician group serving mainly Asian American patients in NYC. Since founding Rendr in 2020, Shu has led its operational transformation, achieving stellar performance in quality, patient experience, and growth, transitioning successfully to value-based care. Rendr now boasts 250 providers across 20+ specialties, serving 150,000 patients in 100 clinical sites—a fourfold growth in four years.

In 2020, Shu guided Rendr through the pandemic while establishing shared services and standard processes. By 2021, Rendr achieved top quality ratings with multiple payors through operational standardization. In 2022, Shu launched the Cause for Alarm campaign to improve patient experience, involving internal training, data analysis, and process improvement. In 2023, Rendr transitioned to a value-based care model, enhancing coding accuracy, disease detection, and patient panel growth.

Shu began her healthcare career at McKinsey & Company and has worked with various health systems in the US and Asia. She led a new retirement community in Shanghai and later joined New York-Presbyterian to lead its Asia business and transformation projects. Shu holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard University and a PhD in Communication from Northwestern University.
