Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Merck & Co., Inc.
Ron is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Merck. He joined
Merck in August 2020 and his role is to “supercharge” IT efforts to drive the best
business outcomes.
Previously, Ron was the CIO/CTO expert advisor for TPG Global, one of the
nation’s leading private equity firms. Prior roles include Chief Information Officer of Exelon Utilities business. He spent the first 17 years of his career at Accenture, starting as an analyst, and ultimately becoming a Partner in their Global Technology Consulting practice.
At Merck, Ron is an executive advisor to the Asia Pacific Association (APA) Employee Business Resource Group. In 2022, Ron represented Merck at the National ASCEND conference. He was a board member for Philadelphia’s non-profit Asian Arts initiative.
Ron has an undergraduate computer science degree as well as an MBA from the University of Michigan.
