Bawana Radhakrishnan is Worldwide Director, Indirect Procurement & Digital Transformation in the Global Procurement organization of Colgate. Bawana oversees Indirect Procurement worldwide, working with a large and complicated global supply base to bring expertise and efficiencies to our stakeholders. Most recently, Bawana was Director, Global Direct Procurement - Personal Care where she led strategic negotiations and supply moves to manage risk and deliver year-on-year P&L cost reductions. Previously, Bawana has held other roles within Colgate with increasing levels of responsibility.
Prior to joining Colgate, Bawana held positions in procurement and supply chain at Mars Inc. and Rockwell Automation.
Bawana is an active supporter and speaker at the YWCA’s Skills, Training, Empowerment Program (STEP) “women who mean business” series. She is an ACP mentor to active veterans and their spouses looking to build their next careers, the Baruch College’s Executives mentoring program and several other volunteer activities with nonprofits through the catchafire network.
Bawana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Mumbai in India. She has been honored by Diversity Journal’s 2021 Women Worth Watching in Leadership and YWCA’s 2020 Tribute to Women and Industry TWIN awards.
