AABDC Hosts Luncheon at Harvard Club with Chinese Consul General in New York

New York, July 24, 2024 – The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) recently held a luncheon at the Harvard Club, attended by the Chinese Consul General in New York and various distinguished guests from the different industries in New York. The event fostered in-depth discussions on U.S.-China relations and bilateral economic and trade cooperation.



During the luncheon, Chinese Consul General Huang Ping delivered a keynote address, highlighting the vast potential and mutually beneficial prospects of U.S.-China economic and trade cooperation. He emphasized that the Chinese Consulate General in New York remains committed to promoting friendly cooperation between the two countries and supporting interactions and development in the economic and trade sectors.


John Wang, President of AABDC and Founder of the New York Center, remarked in his speech: "The economic and trade relationship between the U.S. and China is a critical component of the global economy. Strengthening cooperation in the commercial and economic spheres benefits the people of both nations and contributes significantly to global economic stability and prosperity."


The luncheon was also attended by representatives from New York's business, academic, and cultural communities. They shared constructive opinions and suggestions on the current state and future of U.S.-China relations and how to further deepen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.


This event provided a valuable platform for furthering U.S.-China economic and trade cooperation and played an active role in promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two nations.
