NEW YORK, [July 19, 2024] The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shaanxi Sub-council (CCPIT-Shaanxi) held a significant meeting in New York today, marking a pivotal moment in their collaboration. Mr. John Wang, Founder of the AABDC and President of the New York Center, and Mr. Zheng Jianshe, Vice President of the CCPIT-Shaanxi, signed a cooperation agreement that represents a major step forward in their business and cultural exchange efforts.
Under the terms of the agreement, both organizations will enhance their collaboration across several key areas. This includes high-level reciprocal visits, exchanges and cooperation at the working level, organizing economic and trade delegation visits, conducting business inspections, and facilitating trade negotiations and exchanges. Additionally, the parties will share information related to trade regulations (excluding commercial secrets), project investment opportunities, trade procurement, and market trends, thereby creating new business opportunities for their member enterprises.
The AABDC and the CCPIT-Shaanxi will also collaborate on organizing Sino-U.S. trade exhibitions and investment forums. They will actively invite organizations from both countries to participate in regional international business forums, aiming to boost bilateral trade and investment. Furthermore, they will strengthen their cooperation on commercial legal services, establish a regular communication mechanism, and jointly safeguard the legal rights of enterprises involved in investment and trade collaborations.
The Shaanxi Trade Promotion Council delegation included: Mr. Yao Weidong, Chairman of Shaanxi International Trust Co., Ltd., Mr. Wang Zuoquan, Chairman of Shaanxi Financial Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Mr. Chen Zuojun, Director of Chang’an Bank Co., Ltd., and Ms. Xie Huiying, Deputy Director of the Xi’an Chanba International Port Management Committee.
