The Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Awards Gala Dinner was first established in 2001, and has remained the premier forum to highlight the achievements of Asian American business professionals across the U.S. Marking its 23rd anniversary in 2024.

Asian American Business Roundtable (AABR)

AABR serves as a pivotal platform uniting business leaders dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in workplaces and society. Through collaborative efforts, AABR fosters dialogue, exchange of ideas, and generation of solutions to address the evolving challenges of our times. As a cornerstone event, the AABR annually convenes influential figures committed to cultivating organizational cultures that mirror the diversity of contemporary society.

Project Rebuild
Small Business Forum

Project Rebuild is dedicated to helping minority small businesses. Through this program, AABDC has endeavored to provide technical assistance support, including capital access, legal consultancy, and digital marketing, identifying resources that small businesses most need.

With a focus on enhancing economic, cultural, and educational ties, our visits catalyze collaboration and understanding between our organization and the local business community. The AABDC delegation's visits serve as a catalyst for fostering meaningful collaborations, promoting economic growth, and strengthening the bonds between the US and Asian nations.

Professional Development and Leadership

Asian Women Series

Asian Women Series focus on successes and challenges faced by Asian American women as they ascend professional ladders across sectors and industries. Advocacy and action will continue to drive the discussions, taking a gender-focused approach. AABDC sees the topic of increasing Asian women in business leadership as a critical element of its overall mission to promote development of Asian American entrepreneurs, executives and corporate leaders.

Young Professionals Leadership Program (YPLP)

The goal of YPLP is to engage exceptional and motivated leaders (4-12 years of work experience) to participate in projects that advance the Asian American business community and that positively impact corporate America’s strategic D&I efforts.

ERG Forum

In 2024, in partnership with China Institute in America, AABDC is facilitating the ERG Forum along with committed corporate brands who are aiming to build the best equipped workforces. We will focus on topics relevant to ERGs and employers.

Lunar New Year Celebration

AABDC has led the Lunar New Year celebrations since 2000 in New York City and delighted the Asian American community by having the Empire State building lit up in red and gold, the auspicious color for the new year.
